The Hoosier Crossroads Conference race should become a bit
clearer after this weekend. Currently, Brownsburg sits atop the league
standings with a 5-1 slate. However, the Bulldogs are only one of three
conference teams with just one loss. Zionsville sits at 4-1, although its only
loss was to Brownsburg. Noblesville is lurking at 3-1 in the league. Meanwhile,
Hamilton Southeastern and Lafayette Jeff are still in the picture with only two
conference defeats.
Some separation will come Friday night. The Millers visit
Brownsburg in the marquee contest of the evening. Zionsville travels to face a
dangerous
Hamilton Southeastern will travel to McCutcheon on the other game that affects
the top of the standings.
The action this weekend will go a long way to determining
how crucial Noblesville’s visit to Zionsville this coming Tuesday evening will
be. Also, after this weekend Brownsburg will have only two league games
remaining. The Bulldogs will still have to face
action and then face Lafayette Jeff very late in the season.
