The Fishers Varsity Baseball Team
(11-14 / 4-12) started the week off with
a victory 6 to 5 over Lafayette Jefferson.
Fishers open the scoring in the first inning with a base hit
by Tyler Hoberty and Ray Calloway’s
first home run of the game 2 to 0. Lafayette Jefferson came back with 1 in the
3rd and 2 in the 4th to take a 3 to 2 lead. In the 5th
the Tigers started their rally by Tyler Hoberty base on balls, Clark reached
base on an error and Ray Calloway hit his second home run of the game to give
the Tigers a lead 5 to 4. Lafayette again came back to tie the score in the top
of the 7th to send the game into extra innings. In the bottom half of the 8th
Schlotter walked, Foley walked Bannitt reached first on a infield single and
then Schlotter scored on a error by
Lafayette to win the game.
