The schools of the HCC
and the MIC were the two dominate conferences at the 2010 IHSAA Girls State
Swimming and Diving Meet.  The HCC schools had 7 schools in the top 25, led by HSE in 5th place

MIC schools had 4 schools in the top 25, led by state champion Carmel

·        
The MIC and HCC
combined to win 11 of the 12 events at the meet:  Carmel (MIC) won 7 events; Westfield (HCC) won 2 events; Noblesville (HCC) won 1 event; Center Grove (MIC) won 1 event;
(The winner of the 12th event was from Chesterton)

·        
Total points scored in the meet by the MIC schools were 756.5
points and by schools in the HCC
was 557 points.  The two conferences
combined scored 56.5% of the points scored in the meet.

·        
Of the 12 events that were contested, the MIC won 8 events and the
HCC won 3 events.

HARRISON:  Jacob VanArsdel hit six 3-point field goals and
scored 18 points in a 62-36 victory over Western Boone on Saturday, February
13.

·        
WESTFIELD:   The
Rocks Jeff Howard had three more big games including two double-doubles (20
pts/12 rebounds against Hamilton Hts. and 11 points/16 rebounds against
Brownsburg).   Maurice Fuller had a good
offense weeks with 22, 10, and 13 points in the Rocks three games.  Jake Norris and Michael Stockton eash dished
